We're Donating 500 Books!

July 10, 2016

In the wake of the deadly murders of two Black men at the hands of police officers in Louisiana and Minnesota, and the apparent sniper shootings and killing of police officers in Dallas, I have decided to give away 500 copies of my first book, “An Appeal to the African Church in America: Beware of False Profit$” to churches or organizations interested in practical solutions you can take to help solve the many problems plaguing our community.

Since 1990, I have been appealing to, working with and working within the Black church to break its silence and speak out against all forms of oppression, including U.S. domestic and foreign policies that are inconsistent with the very principles for which it represents. I have also appealed to the church to remove the Euro-centric and capitalist ideologies, which I show, through meticulous historical research, permeates within the religious thought of many of these churches. Failure to do so continues to help foster the type of climate that caused the deadly atrocities we saw on Thursday (07/07/16).

My book is not theory, but is rooted in over two decades of organized struggle by me and others to help bring these solutions to life. Anyone can state a problem or solution; but it takes life-long sacrifices to implement these changes.

If you would like copies for your church or organization, send me an email to and state how many copies you would like (no less than 10 and no more than 60 per box). Individual book requests can be made via my website (

Please note that this is not a ploy to sell books. This is why I am giving these books away. I'm more concerned about people coming together to organize for change. Let’s get to work!
